Rob Hill, Producer
Rob Hill is an award-winning producer, director, and production executive with over 25 years of experience across documentary, narrative film, television, and commercial production. A valedictorian graduate of Full Sail University with degrees in Entertainment Business and Mass Communications, Rob combines creative intuition with deep production and business expertise.
He is best known for The Fort Fisher Hermit, a critically recognized documentary that helped reopen a decades-old cold case and sparked ongoing public and historical interest. His work has earned multiple Mid-South EMMY® nominations, Telly Awards, and the Coastal Entrepreneur Award.
Rob’s career spans high-level producing, directing, location management, and client-facing leadership on projects ranging from independent features to broadcast television and branded content. He has collaborated with agencies, studios, municipalities, and nonprofits, consistently delivering projects that balance creative ambition, operational precision, and audience impact.
Currently, Rob continues to develop original documentary and narrative projects while consulting on production strategy, studio development, and media initiatives throughout the Southeast. He is drawn to stories with depth, cultural relevance, and human truth—and to teams that value collaboration, clarity, and craft.
